SRHA Leadline

 The SRHA is pleased to offer a Walk-Trot Leadline class. This is a fun inclusive event that has been a part of the Summer Series since 2022.

Class details and rules are as follows:

• There will be no entry fee or judges fee for the Leadline class but all riders must possess an SRHA Youth membership.

• Children must be on a leadline and accompanied by an adult who can confidently control and lead the horse.

• Riders entering the Leadline class may only enter that class and can not compete in any other class at that show.

• The Leadline class is not concurrent with any other class and will take place in the morning following the SRHA Short Stirrup, on Saturdays only.

• The Leadline class will be a command class.

• Riders may be asked to walk, jog, reverse, turn, or other similar basic maneuvers. However, all maneuvers will be optional.

• There will be no placings or official judge’s scores.

• Riders may show with any horse, any legal bit, and any type of reins.
