SRHA Walk-Trot

 The SRHA is pleased to introduce its Walk-Trot class. This is a fun new event for the Summer Series in 2022.

Class details and rules are as follows:

• There will be no entry fee or judges fee for the Walk-Trot but all riders must possess an SRHA Youth membership.

• Children are allowed to be on a leadline or off-lead if they are comfortable and can demonstrate a confident control of their equine.

• Independent riders are allowed to enter other classes as well, such as the SRHA Short Stirrup. However, riders on a leadline may only enter the SRHA Walk-Trot class.

• The Walk-Trot is not concurrent with any other class and will take place in the morning prior to the SRHA Short Sturrup, on Saturdays only.

• The Walk-Trot will be a command class.

• Riders may be asked to walk, jog, reverse, turn, or other similar basic maneuvers. However, all maneuvers will be optional.

• There will be no placings or official judge’s scores.

• Riders may show with any horse, any legal bit, and any type of reins.
