SRHA Walk-Trot
The SRHA is pleased to introduce its Walk-Trot class. This is a fun new event for the Summer Series in 2022.
Class details and rules are as follows:
There will be no entry fee or judges fee for the Walk-Trot but all riders must possess an SRHA Youth membership.
Children are allowed to be on a leadline or off-lead if they are comfortable and can demonstrate a confident control of their equine.
Independent riders are allowed to enter other classes as well, such as the SRHA Short Stirrup. However, riders on a leadline may only enter the SRHA Walk-Trot class.
The Walk-Trot is not concurrent with any other class and will take place in the morning prior to the SRHA Short Sturrup, on Saturdays only.
The Walk-Trot will be a command class.
Riders may be asked to walk, jog, reverse, turn, or other similar basic maneuvers. However, all maneuvers will be optional.
There will be no placings or official judge’s scores.
Riders may show with any horse, any legal bit, and any type of reins.
